Some call Coweta “Little Hollywood”; we call it home.

Location, location, location

Our charismatic county has been the backdrop for more than 100 small-screen and blockbuster titles, ranging from horror to heartfelt. When production wraps, the fans roll in to experience all their favorite on-screen moments in real life (zombies optional). So, join us as we tour some of film and television’s most memorable sets, and you’ll discover how curiously camera-ready we are.

Grantville

Don’t let the size of this town deceive you. Grantville may be a small stop off Highway 29, but it takes its leading roles very seriously. As you walk through downtown, you might begin to catch glimpses of the undead. That is, scenes from The Walking Dead. Home to several key sets, including Rick’s fictional hometown and Morgan’s season three apartment, Grantville is prominently featured throughout the series. Remnants of filming can still be seen at 18 Church St., where “Away With You” is scrawled on the brick wall.

In 2023, the community was given new life when filming began for The Color Purple. Four decades after Georgia native Alice Walker wrote The Color Purple and Steven Spielberg adapted it into a major motion picture, the beloved story takes to the screen again, with Grantville setting the scene. Throughout downtown, building facades were decorated to reflect the aesthetics of the late 19th-century. Not one to be typecast, Grantville can transform itself for the past, present and the post-apocalyptic.

Newnan

Doll house or haunted house? It depends on the role. But one thing is for certain: The Parrott-Camp-Soucy House is one of Newnan’s most iconic addresses. And Hollywood has noticed it, too. Its most famous part was playing the house in The House With The Clock In Its Walls (2018) and is featured front and center on the film’s poster. We cannot confirm or deny if there are actual clocks in any of the walls, but some Newnan residents have reported mysterious ticking sounds from time to time. Other appearances include The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012) and HBO’s Lovecraft Country series (2018).

Head further into downtown Newnan and Michael Keaton fans will notice some uncanny similarities to scenes from The Founder (2016). Despite being set in 1950s San Bernardino, California, production had to find an alternative place to shoot because modern San Bernardino doesn’t look like it did back in the 1950s. Well, Newnan doesn’t look quite like 1950s San Bernardino either, so the crew got to work. A recreation of the very first octagonal McDonald Brothers restaurant was built in the Coweta County Administration Building’s employee parking lot. It no longer stands today–people have to park, after all–but the short-lived structure was seen as a generally accurate reproduction of the original McDonald’s.

Today, downtown Newnan is far more vibrant than what you’ll see in the film, but don’t be fooled. These very streets were transformed from a charming Southern town into a zombie wasteland for 2009’s Zombieland. Retrace Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson’s steps with a walk down Greenville Street. Their characters scurry southbound from the Broad St. intersection and stop in front of the real-life Newnan Mercantile and Bold Soul Originals, where Woody Harrelson’s character, Tallahassee, blows off some steam by smashing a van’s windows with a baseball bat.

Senoia

Although we like it just as it is, Senoia excels at playing the part of “somewhere else.” Despite taking place in Alabama, Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) was filmed right here in our backyard. Two settings pivotal to the movie’s plot, The Threadgoode house and the iconic railroad bridge, can be seen throughout the film. Located at 204 Bridge Street, the Travis-McDaniel house and the railroad bridge sit right across the street from one another. The home is privately owned, but fans can enjoy it from the street as they walk or drive by to visit another Senoia sensation.

Just two blocks away sits Nic & Norman’s, a laid-back classic pub owned by The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus, who plays fan-favorite Daryl Dixon, and prosthetic artist/director Greg Nicotero. It’s no mystery why they chose Senoia as their flagship location: the city was featured throughout the series and was Woodbury, the home of notorious villain, The Governor.

Speaking of famous folks… We don’t need six degrees to get to Kevin Bacon. Two will do just fine. Kevin famously starred as Ren in the original Footloose (1984). The iconic bus race scenes for the 2011 adaptation of Footloose were filmed at the Senoia Raceway. Let’s just say, we’re pretty well connected. (Bonus points: Julianne Hough, who played the part of Ariel in the 2011 version, worked with Kevin in Step Into… The Movies with Derek and Julianne Hough.

Haralson

Just 6.5 miles south of Senoia sits Esco Feed Mills in Haralson. Walking Dead fans will know this one as it was the setting for several key scenes (no spoilers!).

The former feed mill, or The Silo as it’s known in the series, made its debut in season three and was featured in the opening credits onward.

Disclaimer: Esco Feed Mill is private property.

The Perfect Vibe for Every Bride

Dreams become reality

Every bride dreams of having a wedding fit for the movies, and in our gorgeous county, that dream can easily become a reality. Just 30 minutes south of Atlanta, Coweta County is full of gorgeous venues that are ready to provide the perfect backdrop for weddings of all styles. And with its proximity to the Atlanta airport, it’s easy for friends and family from all over the country to make the journey and join the celebrations.

From traditional brides seeking a fairytale ceremony and reception to eclectic couples looking to make their day entirely their own, Newnan-Coweta has a venue to fit every personality and every couple. As the filming location for AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead, super fans can even plan their own Walking Dead-themed ceremony at some of the show’s most iconic filming locations in Senoia. Here are a few stellar wedding venues in Newnan-Coweta for every type of bride.

For the Understated Bride

There’s something timeless and sentimental about a courthouse wedding. For the understated bride who wants to let her love speak for itself, there’s no better place to swap vows than the Historic Coweta County Courthouse. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 1904 Classic Revival Courthouse anchors the town square. Its iconic 100-foot copper-covered dome and stately white columns are a great backdrop for just-married portraits, and there’s no need for wedding bells. The courthouse’s four-face clock tower chimes every hour—talk about a way to ring in your matrimony.

For the Southern Romantic Bride

It doesn’t get much sweeter or more Southern than the gorgeous gardens and stunning two-story house of Lillian Gardens. With its wrought-iron railing and double-decker porches, the venue at Lilian Gardens seems torn straight from the pages of Gone with the Wind. Inside, you’ll find warm lighting, original wood floors, classic furniture, and a neutral color palette to complement your flowers and wedding décor. The courtyard and gardens feature luscious flowering plants, bubbling fountains, twinkle lights, and a breathtaking gazebo. Every last detail is designed to enchant.

For the Modern Bride

Brides who love modern aesthetics will fall for the ceremony and reception options at Murphy Lane. Marvel in the beauty of 88 acres of wide-open spaces and scenic farmland. The restored barn is the ideal place to dance the night away with loved ones, and in temperate weather, your guests will love exploring the grounds as they toast to your nuptials and celebrate your marriage. Packages range from the Murphy Lane Micro-Wedding Package for intimate weddings to the Murphy Lane All-Inclusive Wedding Package, which includes everything you need for the blowout bash of a lifetime.

For the Boho Bride

Brides who enjoy spending their free time in the great outdoors will appreciate the rolling hills and pastoral views at Vinewood Stables. Once a historic homestead and horse barn, Vinewood Stables is now fully equipped as a full-service wedding venue. The Main House is large enough to house the wedding party while getting ready, but the Wedding Pavilion is what makes this venue so special. A covered wood-and-stone platform provides the perfect backdrop for you to say your vows. Beyond lies an incredible view of hillsides and rolling pastures. A tree canopy provides ample shade for your guests, but the sunlight seeping in through the foliage creates an absolutely stunning effect.

For the Eclectic Bride

The original passenger depot for the Atlanta & Westpoint Railroad has now been transformed into an intimate and charming wedding venue. With its cozy corners, exposed brick walls, and warm chandelier lighting, this venue is for the bride who wants an intimate party with her closest friends and family. Snap some pictures on the old boarding platform and enjoy the greenspace outside the depot’s double doors.

For the Wistful Bride

Wistful brides will love the ethereal vibe inside the barn at Macedonia Hills. The former horse ranch and barn is situated near the highest point in Coweta County. Brides can choose to hold their ceremonies outdoors on the upper bank, near a waterfall feature, or outside the barn. But for the dreamy bride on her big day, nothing compares to the high vaulted ceiling inside the barn and the exposed wood beams that run along it. Add simple flowers or greenery and gold or brass accents, and the ideal fairytale look is easy to achieve.

For the “Until Death Do Us Part” Bride

It may not be conventional, but we guarantee having a Walking Dead wedding in Senoia will be memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. The show’s main filming location, fans can have their wedding in the very same gazebo on Main Street that was part of the Woodbury set and overlooks the what was once the Alexandria set. They can also have it on the wooden bridge over the train tracks where Maggie and Glen were reunited. For something a little less obvious, choose the Veranda B&B where many of the show’s stars have stayed during filming. Want to take it to the next level? Hire zombies to complete the experience and put a little extra meaning behind the phrase, “until death do us part.”

Start Your Forever Amongst All Our Delightful Possibilities

No matter what you envision for your big day, Coweta County promises the perfect venue for you to start you forever. To see what else you, your wedding party, and all your guests can get up to while you’re here, be sure to click here.

Discover your quirkyness! (and curious)

Step outside your comfort zone

If you’re in a funk when it comes to planning weekend fun, don’t waste another second heading to the same old brewery or park for the umpteenth time. In Coweta County, every day’s an adventure and you’ll never run into a shortage of out-of-the-box activities to delight the entire family. From trying out new sports like pickleball and disc golf to touring a film set or hitting the raceway, the sky’s the limit. Ready to shake up your routine? Plan a weekend trip to Coweta county and consider these quirky-cool places to buck tradition and make some memories.

Barbie Beach

OK, so it’s not an actual beach, but we guarantee you’ll get a kick out of this roadside attraction built by Steve and Linda Quick. The longtime residents of Turin, Georgia, created a 4-foot-by-6-foot sandy display in their front yard, where they frequently rearrange dozens of Barbies in scenes to match current events like the Final Four playoffs, Olympics, and the Royal Wedding. With the new Barbie movie coming out, there’s no better time to see what Barbie’s doing in Coweta County (spoiler alert: she might just be a zombie).

Speed to the Senoia Raceway

Those with a need for speed can make a mad dash to the Senoia Raceway to see a number of races from motocross to sprint cars. Events, shows, and races are scheduled year-round (weather permitting), so you’ll always have something to see. Buy seats in the grandstands or, if you’re lucky, you can grab one of the highly-coveted pit passes or trackside parking spots —there’s not a bad view in the house.

Play a Round of Disc Golf

The 54-acre Hunter Complex in Sharpsburg is a popular spot for all kinds of sports, activities, and recreation, but the real star is the disc golf course. The complex’s newest addition features 18 holes, professionally designed for the most serious disc golfers to delve into. Cowetan Kevin McCoy is a world-champion disc golfer and a course designer who now works for Innova Disc Golf. If you need more disc golf action, be sure to check out the 9-hole course at the Temple Ave. Complex.

Join the Pickleball Madness

If you live just about anywhere in the U.S., chances are you’ve heard the term pickleball come up more than once over the past few years. Maybe it’s a neighbor who took up the sport or grandparents who play with their church group, but everywhere you look, pickleball is taking off. See what all the fuss is about at The HOP (House of Pickleball). The massive facility with 15 courts hosts free Pickleball 101 clinics where new players of all ages can come, learn, and leave with a new favorite activity.

Take a “Walking Dead” Tour

For fans of the hit AMC zombie show “The Walking Dead,” or just those curious about how movie and TV magic comes together, Coweta County is your spot. The show was filmed exclusively in Georgia, so there are sites all over the area where certain scenes or seasons were filmed. For a guided tour with fun facts about the show and the process of filming it, book with either of our film tour groups. These will take you around Senoia (which is home to both Alexandria and Woodbury on the show) on foot, golf cart, or by van to see all of the major sites. Be sure to stop into the Woodbury Shoppe, where you can pick up clothing, gifts, and other collectibles all related to the show.

Sample Eclectic Eats

You’ll find friendly faces, plenty of stories, and delicious homestyle eats at Redneck Gourmet. The Newnan favorite is known for its hearty breakfast and huge choice of sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs for lunch and dinner. We recommend the fried pickles and redneck caviar with any meal. Another great place to eat with an interesting story is Nic & Norman’s Restaurant, a modern American spot opened by none other than Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon in “The Walking Dead”) and Greg Nicotero, the lead director and executive producer of the smash hit show. The Senoia location is known for great burgers, pizza, and a fun brunch menu.

Eclectic Adventures Await

Any trip to these iconic Coweta oddities ensures awesome memories you’ll be talking about for years to come. Make a weekend of it in one or all of our seven communities and experience Southern charm, cinematic wonder, and tasty local cuisine at every turn.

Click here to plan your escape today.

Morning

Newnan

Start your morning at Leaf & Bean, a cozy coffee shop on the square offering tasty breakfast options made with local ingredients. (Pro tip: Wash down your meal with one of their rotating lemonade flavors; the lavender is a big hit.)

Next, head to the Historic Coweta County Courthouse, a gorgeous 1904 Classic Revival building anchoring the town square. If court is in session, the courtrooms and jury rooms are off limits, but the building houses historic imagery and salvaged pieces from the 2010 restoration worth checking out.

Spend the rest of the morning wandering around the picturesque downtown and popping into shops and boutiques lining the square, including Red Letter Merchant, a unique vintage clothing store; Gillyweeds gift shop; and Newnan Mercantile, a home goods hotspot.

Lunch

Newnan

Refuel at The Oink Joint, a beloved barbecue spot. Opt for a Southern classic, such as a pulled pork sandwich or brisket plate, or try some fusion favorites, including BBQ nachos and the Kogi or fried chicken tacos.

Head to family-owned Whitley Farms (open Thursday through Saturday) for an abundance of seasonal produce. Pick your own strawberries and blueberries during the summer, and stock up on homemade jams, local honey, and baked goods at the market.

Next, wind your way through historic Sharpsburg, a quaint town with 150 years of history. Be sure to drive past the old Bridges & Cole building.

Turin

On your way to Senoia, stop in Turin to see one of Coweta’s quirky roadside attractions: Barbie Beach. Since 2006, the six-by-four stretch of sand has featured Barbies and Kens posed in themed displays of current events, such as the Final Four playoffs, the Olympics, and the royal wedding.

Senoia

Once you’re in Senoia, take time to explore along Main Street, home to plenty of local restaurants and boutiques. A trip here isn’t complete without going on a film and TV tour.

Cyclists, Read On!

Georgia’s Cycling Destination

Fresh air and open space to enjoy the ride are what cyclists long for—and they increasingly are finding these options along the Chatt Valley. Known as Georgia’s cycling destination, the region covers a handful of counties and offers opportunities for road cycling, mountain biking, and even gravel cycling. With scenic routes throughout Carroll, Fulton, Harris, Troup, Muscogee, and Coweta counties, the region offers a great way to explore our state’s natural beauty on two wheels.

Coweta County is a valuable part of the Chattahoochee Valley Cycling experience for good reason. Just 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 30 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Newnan and other Coweta towns have become destinations for anyone who wants to ride for enjoyment or participate in a cycling event. Cyclists who travel through Coweta on the Chatt Valley will appreciate light traffic, rich scenery to admire, and even a friendly face or two to share the ride.

Must-rides in the Chatt Valley

Bike Coweta, a hub for the local cycling community, advocates for Coweta being a cycling destination and must-see portion of Chatt Valley network. Chair Chris Doane points out that although development continues to trickle in, Coweta offers a slower-paced environment that cyclists relish, especially on long-distance rides.

VeloCity, a century ride benefiting Atlanta’s Grady Hospital, “spends a lot of the day in Coweta,” Doane points out. Another ride, the Tour of Coweta, has beckoned cyclists from more than 10 different states.

Because the trails travel from south Fulton all the way to Columbus, the counties work together to encourage more bike activity. “We have worked with other counties’ marketing organizations, and we have all taken on cycling activities as a draw for tourism,” says Doane.

Made for Mountain Bikes

Mountain bikers, too, will enjoy exploring Coweta’s portion of the Chatt Valley. Opportunities for mountain biking include trails at Brown’s Mill Battlefield, and in total there are 14 different mountain bike trail sites, according to Doane. “Brown’s Mill is about six and a half miles, and together, the trails probably offer between 150 and 200 miles of mountain biking trails in Chatt Valley,” he says.

Additionally, Bike Coweta’s Rock & Road Festival—held the same weekend as the Tour of Coweta—includes mountain bike races at Brown’s Mill Battlefield.  Meanwhile, the Junior Rippers mountain bike team, for ages 6 to 12, has drawn a young and fervent crowd each season according to Brent Snodgrass, operations manager for Coweta County Parks & Recreation.

“It’s a fun program,” says Snodgrass. “We’ve had this one kid from Sandy Springs who has been in the program since the beginning. I would say almost half the kids in the program are from outside of the county.”

“It’s really bike-friendly here in Coweta; there are tons of places to ride,” agrees Parks Avery, a lifelong cyclist and Newnan resident. “I biked 30 miles this morning, and it was just beautiful. The birds and horses all look at you. Plus, it’s great exercise.”

Take A Trip Through Historic Coweta County!

Historic Places

Coweta County’s rich heritage dates back nearly 200 years, when the area opened for settlement in 1827 following Georgia’s fifth Land Lottery. Many early residents were successful farmers, merchants, and politicians, and their grand homes and businesses stood as testaments to their prosperity. Today the preservation of these structures—representing a variety of architectural styles ranging from Federal and Gothic Revival to Queen Anne and Victorian—is an integral part of the county’s focus.

The City of Newnan boasts six districts with a National Register of Historic Places designation, and locals and visitors alike can enjoy selfguided tours. The best place to begin is the Downtown Historic District, anchored by the neo-Greek Revival courthouse designed by renowned architect James W. Golucke. This area also includes the Carnegie Library, McRitchie- Hollis Museum, Murray Warehouse Block, Reese Opera House, Virginia House Hotel, and the old train depot. Nearby is Oak Hill Cemetery, the final resting place of many of the city’s most prominent citizens as well as more than 250 Confederate soldiers.

Industrial Roots

The residential Cole Town Historic District developed around the R.D. Cole Company, a once-prosperous business that produced millwork, machinery, and water towers. Many homes here display ornate railings, decorative pilasters, and intricately carved moldings that reflect the company’s fine architectural woodwork.

The College-Temple Historic District is a classic example of a well-planned neighborhood, with parks, churches, schools, and tree-lined streets. This area features magnificent homes with a wide range of architectural styles as well as the Male Academy, formerly a boys’ college preparatory school that now serves as a children’s museum, and two houses that were part of College Temple, a private school for girls.

In contrast to the intentional layouts of other districts, the Greenville-LaGrange Historic District developed along two major highways and includes both older and newer homes. The antebellum house located at 87 LaGrange Street served as Confederate headquarters during the Battle of Brown’s Mill.

Mills & Movie Magic

The Newnan Cotton Mill and Mill Village Historic District is representative of early 20th-century Georgia mill communities. The mill, now converted into loft apartments, was once a bustling center of commerce. The adjacent village provided housing for workers.

As its name implies, Platinum Point Historic District is a collection of homes built by some of Newnan’s wealthiest citizens. This district, which showcases a variety of Revival-style architecture, emerged with the prevalence of automobiles as is evidenced by the many outbuildings that were used as garages.

A few miles down the road from Newnan is the tiny town of Senoia, a picturesque community that has served as a backdrop to numerous films and television shows. With its own vast collection of architectural treasures, much of the town comprises a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places.

Diverse Architecture

Begin the self-guided tour at the Senoia Welcome Center on Main Street. It includes more than 45 homes and several churches, with structures encompassing such diverse styles as Gabled Ell, Neo-Classical, New South Cottage, Saddlebag, and Victorian Gothic. Particularly noteworthy is the 1906 Greek Revival mansion on Seavy Street that operates as The Veranda Historic Bed & Breakfast Inn. Notable guests here included author Margaret Mitchell, who interviewed Confederate veterans at the inn for her epic novel Gone with the Wind.

Located a short distance from downtown is the Senoia Area Historical Society Museum. Housed in the 1870 Carmichael home at 6 Couch Street, the museum is filled with artifacts that bring to life the story of Senoia and is open on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Walk your way through Senoia’s history when you take part in Senoia Area Historical Society’s Historic Walking Tour. This activity is a self-guided, audio experience priced at $6.99. Download the app and enjoy the 60-90 minute walking tour or stroll through Senoia’s Main Street in between stops for a full day of fun.

A highlight of the holiday season is the Candlelight Tour of Homes, which offers an inside view of the town’s storied past. Sponsored by the Senoia Downtown Development Authority, the tour is held in early December.

Meet the LINC

The Master Plan

In 2017, the city of Newnan and the Coweta County Commission approved a master plan to develop a 26-mile network of paved paths that serves to “repurpose some of the public rights-of-way and greenspace to create safe and enjoyable spaces for walking, biking, and socializing in Newnan/Coweta.”

The goal was to connect the east and west sides of Newnan, with all trails leading to the downtown district, as well as positively impact property values, community health, and economic development in the area. The multi-use path has become a family favorite for riding through Newnan.

So far, nearly five miles of the total 26-mile path have been opened. A third phase, dubbed the “missing LINC,” is set to be completed soon.

For the Whole Family

Like the Atlanta Beltline or the Silver Comet Trail, the LINC will eventually connect larger neighborhoods with area attractions, such as the Newnan Center and Ashley Park.

“The first section of LINC goes from our neighborhood to my son’s elementary school,” says Brent Snodgrass, operations manager for Coweta County Parks and Recreation. “So we made a new tradition—we biked the first day of school together. He rides his own bike, and he’s 5 years old.”

Art Installations

A visitor’s experience along the path is further enhanced through public art installations. Two murals were designed by muralist John Christian in collaboration with Newnan High School art students in 2019, and the first public art sculpture, created by Chris Rothermel, was gifted to the LINC in 2022.

A second sculpture, designed by University of West Georgia student Kelli Cadena, was installed along the trail in late 2022 as part of a larger public art project. It was designed using historic patterns from the R.D. Cole Manufacturing Company and aluminum from Bonnell Aluminum, two cornerstone industries of Newnan from both its past and present.

We’re Unlike Any Other County!

1. Pick out some produce at the Senoia Farmers Market

Senoia comes alive every Saturday at this popular market. Farmers sell seasonal fruits and veggies, while local artisans set up shop with everything from jewelry to homemade soap to hot sauce. Be sure to visit when live bands are on the schedule.

2. Check out the Historic Coweta County Courthouse

With a copper dome rising 100 feet above street level, this 1904 Classic Revival building towers above Newnan’s town square, but it also has some dark history: It held the famous 1948 Murder in Coweta County trial—subject of several podcasts and a movie.

3. Grab a Gourmet Bite at Brown St. Bodega

Discover the magic of transforming simple, high-quality ingredients into unforgettable experiences. At Brown St. Bodega, you’ll find expertly crafted coffee, a curated selection of wines, wholesome meals, and delectable desserts. Whether you’re dining in or picking up provisions to cook at home, this is where everyday food becomes extraordinary.

4. Enjoy the eggs-ellent Eggs Dijon at Bistro Hilary

Designed to look like a French bistro, this upscale Senoia dining spot has a menu full of tempting plates, but the crispy Eggs Dijon is a crowd pleaser. Pair the savory appetizer with a Paris-themed cocktail on the front or back patio.

5. View the latest display at Barbie Beach

Stop by this unique highway attraction in Turin to see an assortment of Barbies and Kens posed in different arrangements often based on current events. Steve and Linda Quick have kept locals and roadtrippers entertained with the whimsical displays since their first during the 2006 Winter Olympics.

6. Relish the fried pickles at Redneck Gourmet

One of the oldest restaurants in Newnan, this beloved spot serves up plenty of crave-worthy dishes, including the Redneck Burger topped with bacon and their famous fried green tomatoes, but the fried pickles with ranch are a tried-and-true staple.

7. Feel a spiritual presence at Bonnie Castle

Built in 1896, this Victorian-era mansion has been the center of paranormal activity in Grantville for decades. Among the sightings are a ghost named Mary and a spectral cat. Today, you can book a stay in one of the inn’s rooms through Airbnb and experience the haunted vibe for yourself.

8. Try the latest flavor at Rock Salt Milk Bar

Nearly everything is made inhouse at this Newnan ice cream shop, and flavors frequently rotate based on the season. Fresh peach and blueberry lemon lavender are popular in summer, while white chocolate peppermint and gingersnap cheesecake are winter winners.

9. Kayak down the Chattahoochee River

The 2,910-acre Chattahoochee Bend State Park is one of the largest state parks in Georgia and provides an ideal spot for kayaking. After a day of paddling, rent a nearby cottage or campsite to relax amid the forest’s natural beauty.

10. Meander around historic neighborhoods

Nicknamed the “City of Homes,” Newnan has six districts listed on the National Historic Registry. Be sure to check out 167 LaGrange Street, one of the oldest standing homes in the city built circa 1828, as well as 155 Greenville Street, which has been featured in many shows and movies.
