13th Annual RACE for the Orphans 5K

Run to change lives! Join more than 1,000 participants on Saturday, May 3, 2025 in beautiful, historic downtown Newnan.

Medals and CASH prizes for Top 5K Male & Female winners ($500 1st place plus FREE pair of shoes from Dragonfly Running Comany, $250 2nd place, $100 3rd place), and awards will be given to the top 3 schools with the most participants. The 5K course is USATF Certified and a qualifier for The Peachtree Road Race. Runners, walkers, and strollers welcome.

Through your participation, RACE for the Orphans, Inc., is changing lives and helping bring children home to their forever families. Founded in 2013 with a vision for Raising Awareness, Compassion and Education about the needs of the 150+ million orphans around the world, the annual 5K RACE has grown to over 1,000 participants and volunteers.

*Early Registration ends at 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 27th. Price increases by $5.00 for each race category on Monday, April 28th.

Race Day Schedule

7:45 AM – Tot Trot for ages 5 and under begins
8:00 AM – Mia’s Mile Fun Run/Walk begins
8:30 AM – 5K begins (USATF certified map #GA19094WC)
9:30 AM – Awards ceremony begins
