The newest (and largest) skatepark-pump track combination in Georgia opened in late summer 2021. This regional facility is home to over 30,000 square feet of rideable terrain – complemented by playgrounds, restrooms, a splash park and a variety of other amenities.

A direct result of the dedicated advocacy by a handful of local youth, parents and community leaders, the park features an expansive street/plaza section, competition-level bowl, various obstacle and transition elements, and one of the Nation’s few integrated, site-built concrete pump tracks.

The complex features a gymnasium, two outdoor basketball courts, two pavilions and a playground. It also hosts the Clay-Wood Community Center with a banquet room, kitchen, conference room and computer lab.

This family-owned artisan market doubles as Newnan’s local butcher. It offers the highest quality products including beef, pork, poultry, seafood and exotic meats (foie gras, elk, bison, duck, quail, rabbit and more).

Corner Arts is a local artists’ gift shop offering a variety of unique, handmade products. It is also a teaching studio featuring classes in drawing, watercolors, ceramics and more!

Country Gardens Farm is a multigenerational family farm that centers around sustainable, organic growing methods. In addition to the market, you can also take classes on how to grow, cook and preserve your own food.

Country Junction is a family-owned shop that specializes in soaps, lotions and speciality products, all made from locally raised Nubian goats.

The 80-acre Coweta County Fairgrounds opened in 2001 as a premier facility designed for multiple event staging.

The Conference Center includes over 6,000 square feet of meeting space that seats up to 400 with an adjacent catering kitchen. The property also features a 10,000 square foot Ag building, outdoor theater space with a stage and a seven-acre midway to host a variety of large, outdoor event. Do your attendees like being in nature? The James E. McGuffey Nature Center boasts of walking trails and a covered pavilion for seating up to 40 people.

This research library is home to a large inventory of historical and genealogical books and publications. It contains books and publications from most, if not all, of the 50 states. There are also a variety of surname books; family history compilations; family folders; historical newspapers, military books and index publications; and miscellaneous historical and reference books, magazines and pamphlets.

Dunaway Gardens opened originally in 1934 as a theatrical training ground for some of the country’s most beloved stage performances. Home, for a time, to Minnie Pearl and frequented during the 1930s and 40s by a cast of colorful visitors, including Walt Disney, Dunaway grew to become a local treasure.
